#1. Finding short-term rentals in Western NC, and how to list them in Canopy MLS
If you own or manage rental property in Western North Carolina and South Carolina, consider listing it in Canopy MLS for short-term occupancy. Currently displaced residents impacted by Hurricane Helene are looking for temporary housing.

Canopy MLS provides weekly and month-to-month lease terms.  Additionally, rental listings can also indicate whether they are furnished.

If the property is also listed on other short-term vacation rental sites, such as Airbnb or Vrbo, a link to the listing on those sites can be provided in the Web URL or Branded VT URL fields of the listing in Canopy MLS.

Canopy MLS rules require all listings, including short-term rentals, to be subject to an exclusive listing agreement between the property owner(s) and the real estate broker in order to procure tenants or receive rents for the owner’s property. Whether such short-term rentals are subject to the Vacation Rental Act, and additional guidance, is provide din the article, Listing short-term rentals in Canopy MLS
