What to expect of Coming Soon-No Show and Expired status listings as part of our conversion

As you have read the news of our upcoming conversion to a RESO compliant Matrix system, you may be wondering what will happen to your Coming Soon listings with a Marketing Date of February 6th or February 7th, or your listings with an Expiration Date on either of those days as well.

In order to make sure all listing data in the new system is as complete and up to date as possible, the Add/Edit tool in our current Matrix system will be disabled at 10am on Monday, Feb 6th.  The Add/Edit tool in our new Matrix system will be enabled mid-day on Tuesday, Feb 7th.  During that time no changes to listings will be possible.  This includes automated changes that would normally be performed by the Matrix system, such as the change from Coming Soon-No Show status to Active status, or the change from Active status to Expired status.

All listings scheduled for one of these status changes during our transition will be delayed by one day, and will happen shortly after midnight on Wednesday, Feb 8th.  If you currently have a listing scheduled to change status on one of these dates and are concerned about the delay, you may want to discuss with your seller client(s) the possibility of changing to a different date.  Once the Add/Edit tool in the new system has been enabled on Tuesday, Feb 7th, you can also manually change the status as well (keeping in mind that listings will need to be "Withdrawn", they can not be changed manually to Expired, and only the head of an office can make this change).
