Can you think of a reason why you might need to allow an individual who does not participate in or subscribe to Canopy MLS access to your listing?
If you just listed the property, you may need to let a photographer in to take photos. Perhaps an agent in a neighboring MLS service area would like to show your Canopy MLS listing. Maybe the listing is under contract, and a home inspection is needed.
Before scheduling an appointment for an individual who does not participate in or subscribe to Canopy MLS to access your listing, check your office policy to ensure it is allowed, and communicate with your seller in writing with the appointment specifications.
Canopy MLS offers ShowingTime as a member benefit to all Subscribers for all listings. Real estate licensees who do not participate in or subscribe to Canopy MLS can "show" homes, but they must contact the listing agent to schedule the appointment, and cannot use ShowingTime to schedule the appointment directly. Listing agents are able to schedule the appointment in ShowingTime, in their own name, with a note indicating the name of the individual who will be accessing the listing.
If the listing has a Supra lockbox, the listing agent can provide access to the individual who does not participate in or subscribe to Canopy MLS by following the instructions below for Supra Grant Managed Access.
