Canopy MLS and industry partners Rental Beast and HurricaneHomes.org offer three opportunities to assist displaced residents impacted by Hurricane Helene needing temporary housing.

#1. Finding short-term rentals in Western NC, and how to list them in Canopy MLS
If you own or manage rental property in Western North Carolina and South Carolina, consider listing it in Canopy MLS for short-term occupancy.  Canopy MLS provides weekly and month-to-month lease terms.

#2. Rental Beast provides the most comprehensive rental inventory
Rental Beast includes rentals listed in Canopy MLS as well as off-MLS inventory sourced from landlords of all sizes from the largest nationwide management companies all the way through the smallest private landlord that may have only one rental unit.  To help residents recovering from Helene, Rental Beast will waive application fees.

#3. HurricaneHomes.org helps identify available residential rental housing
Canopy MLS has also provided available residential rental listings to HurricaneHomes.org.  The website, provided by Solid Earth, a technology provider in real estate, is entirely free to use and offers real-time access to available listings.

To learn more about these opportunities Canopy MLS has created a resource page.
