Responding to feedback requests is a professional courtesy. According to ShowingTime, in the fourth quarter of 2023 there were over a quarter of a million showings in the Canopy MLS market area.  Only 60% of Canopy MLS Participants and Subscribers provided feedback on those showings.

Respond promptly to feedback requests, even if it's only a message to say, "Sorry, they weren’t interested." If you are concerned about compromising your buyer’s position, keep your feedback short and to-the-point.

Showing agents should be aware that feedback might be viewed directly by the seller. Do not include your contact information in feedback provided to ShowingTime except for your first name. Too much could be construed as interfering with the agency relationship a Realtor® has with a client (Code of Ethics, Article 16). Through ShowingTime, the listing agent can choose to either “publish feedback” automatically or “hold for review.”
