Members who continue NOT to wear face coverings, use hand sanitizer, and allow enough time to properly disinfect a home before the next showing could very well shut our industry down. With the N.C. Governor extending the modified “Stay at Home” order until Feb. 28, it’s simply not worth the risk.

Agents should respect their appointment time and NOT show up too early or after the appointment window. In order to ensure a limited number of people when showing a home (not land) at any given time, listing agents should seriously consider disabling the feature in ShowingTime that allows for overlapping appointments.

Remember that the way you choose to operate is a reflection on the entire industry and could eventually hurt livelihoods. Conducting business safely is what’s best for the consumer and real estate as a whole.
