In an effort to make describing a property’s space more clear, we have changed the name of our “Unheated SqFt” fields in Matrix. Now these fields will be called:
Non-HLA SqFt
Heated Living Area, or HLA, is defined in part as “Heated, finished space.” When a space was heated, but not finished, this created confusion in the MLS as to which field to use. The new name is there to recognize space that does not qualify as Heated Living Area, whether that space is unheated, unfinished, or both. For more information about reporting square footage, read Reporting Square Footage.
Updated Listing Input Sheets have been posted and are available in Matrix by clicking the “Resources” tab, then selecting “Canopy MLS Forms.”
We have added a new option in the “Property Type” field: Manufactured CrossMod™. The term CrossMod applies to a new type of HUD code manufactured homes with specific exterior and interior features to make them somewhat indistinguishable from site-built homes.
