The Canopy MLS rules prohibit listings that are co-listed with other licensees who are not Member Participants or Subscribers of Canopy MLS, and such listings must not be entered into the MLS.
Compliance with this rule is demonstrated by:
- Providing a signed listing agreement with no reference to the property being co-listed with another real estate broker who is not a Participant or Subscriber of Canopy MLS
- There can be no text in the MLS listing to contact a real estate broker for information/showings who is not a Participant or Subscriber of Canopy MLS.
- The non-participant broker can join Canopy MLS.
